THE SAFETY PAGE: WAG, POLICE, TRADING STANDARDS

Welcome to The Safety Page, where you'll find information from and about some of the bodies set up to protect you, the people of Wellesbourne and Walton from a lot of dodgy people out there - scamsters, crooks, burglars, con-people - and to try to make these 2 villages an even better place to live: Wellesbourne Action Group and Police and Trading Standards Messages. Static information is in Amenities, such as Police, Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, Trading Standards (including Scams) and the Parish Council Office. For previous months, link from the foot of this page or page one, or use Back Numbers.

Please note:

WAG is moving to a new site with the closure of Warkcom. These notices will transfer to the new site.
Fewer messages are coming in; visitors can receive these by joining Andy's mailing list.
Thus the need for this page will disappear, so it will will stop once the new site is in place.
The 'last month' link will be transferred to the Church page.

Public Meetings

The WAG Committee meets at 7.30pm on the third Tuesday of the first month in each quarter (January, April...), with all meetings open to the public: if you have anything you want raised, please contact us, and we may be able to meet between times, informally. The next one should be on 20th July, in the Stag's Head. Future meetings may also be cancelled or held elsewhere, so please contact us before turning up.

Walking

We walk at 2pm on Wednesdays and 10am on the 4th Saturday of nearly every month, starting by the Conservative Club. One Wednesday of each month we do a rather longer walk - 1.5 to 2 hours which may include hills. The next Saturday walk is on 22nd May. E-mail us if you have any questions or suggestions - Peter, Mike and Hilary.
