WELLESBOURNE AND WALTON AMENITIES AND SERVICES

Parish Council | Local Government | Contact Your Politician | Anti-social Behaviour Officer | Police | Trading Standards | Churches and Faiths | Medical | Village Facilities | Advisory Services

Wellesbourne and Walton Parish Council publishes an Index of Shops and Amenities. This booklet is distributed free of charge throughout the parish; extra copies may be purchased from the Parish Clerk or the Library. Inevitably such a publication is never completely up to date but it is reissued every 2½ years. If the webmaster is made aware of any changes, they appear on the Search Favourites page under Shops.

The latest edition (white cover with colour pictures of various locations around Wellesbourne) came out in January 2014, and is on the Parish Council's site at www.wellesbournepc.org/Index%20 of%20shops%20and%20amenities%202014.pdf (4.5mb). If you didn't receive one, or feel your enterprise should be included in the next one, please let the Clerk know. The Parish Council owns the data and maintain the Index on its site.

In the meantime some amenities are listed here below and links will be added to them where possible. Village amenities include:

As of May 2014, the 7 Members of the European Parliament for the West Midlands are:

Jill Seymour, James Carver, Bill Etheridge UKIP
    Neena Gill, Siôn Simon Labour
    Philip Bradbourn, Anthea McIntyre Conservative
(For UKIP, these are web contact pages; for Lab and Con they are actual e-mail addresses. The Writetothem.com box above is usually the best means of contacting our representatives as the postcode focus helps to ensure that the right person is contacted, so they do take more notice. Immediately after an election, however, as you can imagine, the workload of updating the whole country's representatives means that Writetothem.com takes a while to catch up. At these times individual webmasters such as myself are often in a position to do some research and come up with contact addresses.)

  • Public and Consumer Protection

Anti-social Behaviour Officer Kully Takhar is our first resort if we want to report any anti-social behaviour in South Warwickshire, and will issue a log sheet in order to record a pattern of events and come up with a plan of action. As such, they are finely focused and individually issued, so will not be made available for general distribution.
