Women bishops?

Do you know all about it? Are you interested? Have you heard about the draft legislation?

At Diocesan Synod 7pm 15 June at Bluecoat School Coventry there will be a presentation about the issues around ordaining women as bishops, especially the draft legislation for those opposed to their ordination, and some discussion. The meeting is open to anyone who is interested (this part of the agenda will be over by about 8.45pm). Kate will be going, so can give lifts. If you plan to attend, please let her know & she’ll let the organisers know how many people to expect.

These matters are going to be debated at Parish level and at Deanery Synod before the formal debate and vote on the legislation which will take place at Diocesan Synod on 5th November 2011.
