In May

8th Healing Communion

Our Communion service will be led by Bishop John. People in need of prayer are very welcome.

Wellesbourne Community Church

The first meeting will be on Monday, 9th May at 7.30pm at the Bowls Club in Loxley Close. If you prefer a more contemporary style of church this new group may be just right for you. We will start with modern worship songs, led by a live music group. (More details on page 3)

Prayer for the Village

At St Peter's this month we are praying for all those who live in Anson Close, Blenheim Walk, Cranwell Drive, Halifax Close, Harvard Close, Oxford Way, Redhill Close, Redhill Nursery and Sunderland Place.

St Peter’s Prayer Chain

If you have a request for prayer, please ring Betty Middleton on 841334 who will pass it on confidentially to a group of 20 or so people who will pray daily for a week for your request.

Christian Aid Week

The week begins on the 15th May under the banner of “Help people in poverty out of poverty” (See Andy Laird’s leader on the front page and there’s a note on page 3 too). Come to Faith in 40 Minutes or the 6.30pm Churches Together service to find out more. You can drop gift envelopes in at Duncan's Pet Shop or you will be very welcome to deliver them in person at one of our services at St Peter's on Sunday 22nd May 2011.

New team at St Peter’s
