INSIDE CORNER

It’s said that disasters come in threes: if so, I’m wondering when the third is due. Just before print day last month Bennett’s, our printer since we started well over 25 years ago, ceased trading. It was only because Vale Press pulled out all the stops, and turned the WWN round in only three days, that we managed to get it out to you on time. Then we’ve been having computer problems so I’m not receiving any e-mails. I’ve telephoned everyone I can think of to get hard copy but if yours slipped through the net, my apologies.

What can go wrong next? I keep saying “Cheer up – it may never happen,” but I can’t help that uneasy feeling that something will. Watch this space.
