WELLESBOURNE & WALTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

The Wellesbourne & Walton Horticultural Society is an informal organisation which holds two Village Shows a year in Spring and Autumn. Though we are affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society, and are judged by professionals, the emphasis is on what people grow in their gardens and allotments, not on abnormally large vegetables, or impossibly exotic blooms. We would like to welcome new entrants to our shows, and are happy to give advice and support to newcomers. Village shows in 2014: Spring Sat 12th April Autumn Sat 6th September Autumn Entry Form (6pp A4: print 2up pp 6,1,2,5 DS; scale to A5 pp 3,4 DS) Both shows have sections for flowers, floral art, and cookery, as well as photography and creative work. There is a children's section which anyone under 12 is very welcome to enter. {Examples} The Autumn show is of course big on fruit and vegetables too.
