Mothers’ Union

On October 25th the Mothers' Union celebrated the centenary of their formation by holding a special service in church and a tree planting ceremony at Saint Peter's.

A Rowan tree was planted in the church grounds and a plaque commemorating it is to be put in place shortly.

ST PETER’S

CHRISTMAS FAIR

A big thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Fair this year. We made around £1,360 which was absolutely marvellous in these uncertain economic times.

Thank you particularly to everyone who had a stall and who provided such a variety of goods to buy, from Ron's beautiful pictures to delicious cakes and puddings, lovely cards and jewellery, to say nothing of the gorgeous jams, chutneys and marmalades. I think all stalls did well and so they deserved to. The new times proved to be popular so we will keep it to that next year. Till then...........!

CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL

On behalf of Wellesbourne Methodist Church Centre may I express my grateful thanks for the interest and enthusiastic support of all those who took part in sponsoring and decorating a Christmas tree at our recent Christmas tree festival. We had over forty beautifully decorated trees on display for two days and attracted a record number of visitors. A big thank you to all for making our weekend such a success.
