INSIDE CORNER

I suddenly realised that our readers have been deprived of their annual brain test this year so here it is just in time for trivial pursuit over Christmas. I actually got one right this year but I'm not telling you which one. Your starter for ten is at the bottom of this page.

As usual there's a lot going on this month including carols with mulled wine & mince pies and concerts galore. Join us for carols in the Precinct on 18th December at 10am and 20th at 6.30pm and look out for the Lions with Santa's sleigh.

We hope you enjoy it all and on behalf of all the WWN team I wish you all a Happy Christmas and a joyful and peaceful New Year.

WAG Walkers

New Extended Saturday Walks

Our December walk would fall on the 25th so we'll walk on the 18th instead. I suggest heading west to Hatton Rock: follow the path by the river past Ryon House to August Hill; a few yards down the road into Stratford turn right towards the Welcombe Hotel and Obelisk; head north to Hollow Meadow; just before Snitterfield turn right and head back to Hatton Rock. Ring Peter on 07973 908249 or just turn up at the Conservative Club at 10am.

Last in the Series. (As attendance has been disappointing recently I shan't be continuing into 2011).

Stop and think about it and then turn to page 4 for the answer and to continue the test.
