As you will see from the box below we've had a
change of staff at WWN. From this month we welcome Linda Dane to the team as
she very kindly takes over as Diary Organiser in succession to Sarah Lambert.
So in future please will you all contact Linda for diary entries; her contact
details are in the box below.
Sarah has been our “Diary Diva” for just over
five years, having taken over in January 2006 and it is a job requiring a good
deal of patience and careful attention to detail to make sure the dates and
details are all correct. Thank you for all your hard work Sarah and we wish you
all success in pastures new.

Macmillan Cancer Support
Thank you to all who so generously supported the events
organised by the Wellesbourne Committee of Macmillan Cancer Support during
2010. We are now looking forward to events arranged for 2011 and hope we can
count on your continued support.
Our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held on
Monday 28th March at the Wellesbourne Methodist Church Centre at 7.45
for 8.00 p.m. Everybody is welcome at this meeting.
On Friday 1st April we will be holding a
quiz evening at St Peter's Church Centre at 8.00 p.m. Please bring your own
food. £4.00 per person. Please book early to avoid disappointment by calling

On Friday 15th April we will be holding our Easter Egg Extravaganza at the
Wellesbourne Methodist Church Centre from 10.00 - 12.00 and 2.00 - 4.00p.m.

Introduction to Beekeeping
Shipston Beekeepers are
holding an “Introduction to Beekeeping” day on Saturday 2nd April at the Old
Free School, Brailes. The day will deal with the basics of beekeeping for the
complete beginner or those with very limited experience of this craft.
Arrive at 09.30 for coffee
prior to a prompt 10.00 start. Refreshments and a light lunch are included in
the day's price of £20. The event is scheduled to finish at 15.00 approx.

Everything from a full English to just toast & marmalade and come and find out all about
the Friends.
‘How many loaves have you?’
No, this is not an
attempt to pry into your larder, but it is the title of this year's Women's
World Day of Prayer Service, prepared by the women of Chile. The day of prayer
is Friday 4 March and on this day Christians from all round the world will be
using this programme.
This year in Wellesbourne, the Methodist Church is hosting, and
there will be two services: at 2.30 in the afternoon, for those who don't want
to go out at night; and one at 7.30pm for those who are busy in the day. At
7.00pm tea and 'bread snacks' will be served to those who are coming to the
evening service. The day of prayer is prepared by women, but EVERYONE, men
women & children, are welcome. See you there!
