Tools with a Mission

Tools with a Mission is a Christian Charity supported by various Churches and many other organisations. It collects any type of tools and equipment, refurbishes them and ships them to various parts of Africa. On arrival the purpose is to train people in a trade or supply items to be used in a community. In many countries many of the population have few skills, little education and no means of earning a living. A switch from aid dependency to self-sufficiency is impossible without help.

By sending carpentry and building tools, computers sewing machines, boxes of haberdashery and student packs for schools, people will be able to support their families.

If you have any tools lurking in your shed or garage that you don't use, perhaps you would consider donating them; we can collect.

If you would like further information, please ring David Wheeler 01926 857155 or Eileen 01789 841011.

Methodist Church

A big thank you to all who came to our CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL. We all had a great time, we hope you did too. Many more people came through our door this year, despite the cold weather! We hope you found a warm welcome. The trees looked fantastic as always. Thank you so much to you all for your hard work in decorating your tree. Without your trees we would not be able to have a festival.
